If you are streaming there is really no reason to not have a dual monitor setup anyways.

Normally if just using OBS you can bind it to a particular source, but when using a capture card it is going to take the entire screen output so you have no way of using an overlay and not having it show on your screen. If you want them on the same monitor you are going to have problems. Set bit-rates, save profiles, adjust picture settings, and check that your hardware is performing as it should. OBS Studio should now be picking up your Chat Link audio. Once this is changed, hit OK, and close 4K Capture Utility. Then change the Audio Input from HDMI Audio to Analog Audio. If that is the case your best bet is going to be getting a second monitor and using it for that. From here make sure the Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ is selected. Are you wanting to have it so you can see the live counts, but the viewers cannot? Sorry if this didn't make sense I can answer questions. Look for the Audio Input Option on the bottom right and choose 2/Analog Audio. (Don't worry I don't need a 2nd card because one of them can open in web browser/software) think of it like this if it didn't make sense: let's say I was streaming a game and wanted the live subscriber count and donations to shows on my screen I am playing on too. To use the Chat Link inside of OBS Studio with your Elgato Game Capture HD60 S, right click on your Elgato Game Capture HD60 S layer and go to Properties. My plan is since we have two systems that have cameras connected to them I can make them go in the input and output on a monitor so it will both show.

The only flaw is the lack of PS3 support, although thats partially Sonys fault with the HDCP compatibility.

3) Connect your TV or Monitor to the HDMI OUT port of the Elgato. 2) Connect your console to the HDMI IN port of the Elgato. The picture is flawless, and setting up in OBS Studio is easy. This allows you to change settings in OBS and your PC to read the capture card.

I was wondering if anyone knew a way where I can make it so the stuff that shows in obs studio like live subscriber counts and stuff show on the monitor I'm the output. I uploaded a video of the issue on my twitter a few minutes ago, so you all can see exactly what's going on.So when I use it to record games ( it is the PC version) I would plug computer HDMI to the input of the card and the HDMI output goes to my monitor and I have obs open on the computer with the card. To use the Chat Link inside of OBS Studio with your Elgato Game Capture HD60 S, right click on your Elgato Game Capture HD60 S layer and go to Properties. There HAS to be some way to fix this issue. The only other solution I saw one person say worked was getting an adapter to plug the HD 60S's wire DIRECTLY in to the motherboard, but my wire wouldn't be able to reach where my computer is and would go across my entire floor.

I tried downscaling, I tried switching the wire for a different one, I have it plugged in to a UBS 3.0 port, enabled buffering, uninstalling/ reinstalling drivers/software, updating everything, but nothing's worked at all. It's not an issue with my computer at all either, cause Game Capture HD had ZERO issues like this using that (however I've been wary of ever using it since the last 2 times it had a DIFFERENT issue where it'd corrupt part of the video and after that point all of the audio and video would be desynced), so it's gotta be something with OBS Studio's settings or with the HD 60S itself.

I saw a few other people saying on other sites they've had the same issue but the threads all ended with no clear final answer on how to fix this, and it's SO incredibly frustrating. Ever since I've got my elgato HD 60S, I enjoyed being able to stream and record with the zero latency between myself and what's happening in the game, buuut this one issue has been persistent the ENTIRE time I've used it it would just randomly freeze every now and then, sometimes after a good 10 minutes, other times every few seconds. I've tried so many different solutions and fixes for this, but no one seems to actually have a clear definitive solution that actually WORKS so I'll try asking here to see if anyone knows how to fix this.
